Forgetting the world around you for a while, going back to your core for a minute, that's what Bram Stadhouders (Netherlands, 1987) can cause with his guitar. Inspired by silence, nature and atmospheres, he can touch a sensitive string in you, where beautiful images pop in front of your minds eye. Born in a family of musicians and taught by his father, as a little boy he started on the classical guitar, with which he already won different competitions. Later he continued in the world of rock, jazz, and electronic music, with the same big success. His music is praised by press and fans, and he was chosen as a Young Vip in The Netherlands, connected to the biggest tour for upcoming improvising musicians. After his electronic music composition studies, he moved to the new music paradise Berlin, and tours a lot in the Netherlands, Europe, and the USA. For his soloproject, he reached back to his original instrument, the classical sologuitar, and brought the influences from his other musical adventures. Classical oriented guitartechniques and 'comprovisations', with still the freshness of electronic music and modern improvisation. Even de wereld om je heen vergeten, even terug naar jezelf worden gebracht, dat is wat Bram Stadhouders (Tilburg, 1987) met zijn gitaar teweeg kan brengen. Geïnspireerd door stilte, natuur, en atmosferen, raakt hij een gevoelige snaar, waarbij prachtige beelden voor je ogen springen. Geboren in een muzikantenfamilie en opgeleid door zijn vader, als klein jongetje begon hij op de klassieke gitaar, waarmee hij al diverse concoursen in de wacht sleepte. Later zette hij zichzelf verder voort in de wereld van rock, jazz, en elektronische muziek, met eveneens groot succes. Zijn muziek wordt alom geprezen door medemuzikanten, de pers en fans, en hij is in 2008 uitgekozen tot Young Vip, gekoppeld aan een Nederlandse tour voor opkomende improvisatiemuzikanten. Na zijn studie elektronische muziekcompositie tourt hij veel in Nederland, Europa en de Verenigde Staten. Voor zijn soloproject heeft hij teruggegrepen naar zijn oorspronkelijke instrument, de klassieke gitaar, en de invloeden van zijn muzikale avonturen meegenomen. Klassiek georiënteerde gitaartechnieken en 'comprovisaties' , met nog altijd de frisheid van elektronica en moderne improvisatie.
