Imagine driving through the shimmering desert, dancing in a blank space, walking through a rainy cropfield. These are but a few imaginary films that could start after Bram Stadhouders' guitarstrings get stroked. Calmness, word-paintings and nature-trips are the source of inspiration. Sometimes it explodes like a thunderstorm and other times its as quiet as in a mountain-hut.

Bram Stadhouders is considered one of The Netherlands' best and most refreshing improvising musicians since Han Bennink and Misha Mengelberg. His style is filmic and dreamy, and he uses guitar and technology to create magical worlds of aural inspiration. Raised in a musician-family, as a little boy his father gave him his first classical guitar lessons, with which he already won several competitions. Later he continued in the world of rock, jazz, and electronic music, with the same success stories. His music is praised by press and audience, and he was chosen as "Most Promising Improviser" in The Netherlands, connected to the biggest tour for upcoming musicians and a performance on national television which you can see in the video section.

After his electronic music composition studies, he moved to the new music paradise Berlin, and tours extensively in the Netherlands, Europe, and the USA. Besides working regularly as a guest-musician, he performs his own music as a Solo-guitarist, as duo with Onno Govaert, and with an international 6-piece band Bram Stadhouders Korps.
